Welcome to our new CFO, Jan H. Lynge-Pedersen

Jan brings solid experience as CFO from KNI and as a former Permanent Secretary in Greenland’s Ministry of Finance. He has deep expertise in financial management, risk management, and strategic planning,
which he has also applied during his six years as Deputy Chairman of Royal Greenland's Board. This experience provides him with in-depth knowledge of our strategic goals and our owners’ vision for the company.

Jan is ready to take on this new role, seeing it as both a professionally exciting challenge and an important responsibility for the Greenlandic community.

"This is probably the biggest challenge one can have as a CFO in Greenland, and that’s what makes this job so exciting for me. I’ve always been interested in the fishing industry, so Royal Greenland is the perfectfit. Just as in KNI, Royal Greenland plays an important role in Greenland’s society, and it’s about much more than just the bottom line," says Jan about the career shift.

In addition to his extensive experience in Greenland, Jan has international experience, including a period as an Assistant Director at the Directorate of Fisheries, where he worked on the EU’s framework agreements in Brussels. His insights into international market regulations will strengthen Royal Greenland's global market activities and exports.
