Royal Greenland inaugurates new service center in Poland: Focus on efficiency and centralized customer service

28.08.2024

Royal Greenland has taken a significant step towards centralized customer service and operational efficiency with the opening of a new service center in Gdańsk, Poland. This milestone marks a key part of our strategy to drive growth and optimize collaboration with customers worldwide.

On August 22, 2024, Royal Greenland officially opened the doors to the new service center in Gdańsk. The center, which has already been partially operational for several weeks, will play a crucial role in centralizing and optimizing our service functions. This will enable us to provide even faster and consistently reliable customer service while creating efficient solutions for our global customer base.

A strategic location

The location in Gdańsk was carefully chosen to centralize our processes and ensure quicker response times and more streamlined customer service. CEO Susanne Arfelt Rajamand highlights the strategic advantages of choosing this city as the home for our new center:

We chose Gdańsk because of the availability of qualified and dedicated employees and because, as a seafood company, we feel at home in a port city. Poland has over 1,500 service centers, and we are proud to be the first from Greenland.

A promising start

Gabriela Wasilewska-Gaweł, head of Royal Greenland's service center in Poland, is already seeing positive results from the new service center:

I am confident that our office in Trójmiasto will enhance the quality of services we offer to our customers globally. Since the opening in July, our new employees have shown great motivation and efficiency in taking on tasks for our Royal Greenland European Shared Services Centre in Gdańsk,

Gabriela Wasilewska-Gawel

The transition has been achieved through a significant effort by Royal Greenland's organization across Europe.

A core element of our growth strategy

The opening of the service center in Gdańsk is a crucial component of Royal Greenland's long-term growth and development plan. The new center plays a central role in ensuring that we continue to meet customer needs and expectations while strengthening our position in the European and global markets. At the same time, it will contribute to streamlining our operations and ensuring even stronger customer service.
